Childbirth Connection uses research, education and advocacy to foster women's access to informed decision making and evidence-based maternity care. In addition to making good use of available systematic reviews and other better-quality research, we commission or carry out systematic reviews and other research to fill important gaps in knowledge. With needed research in hand, we carry out public and professional education and foster improved practice.
